A fresh wave of accusations has hit actor Steven Seagal, with claims now including charges of rape and s**ual assault following previous allegations of s**ual harassment.
Regina Simons, who was just 18 years old at the time, asserts that Seagal assaulted her during the filming of his movie “Deadly Ground” in 1994.
Simons recounts that Seagal, now aged 65, invited her to what he described as a wrap party for the film.
However, upon her arrival, she found herself alone with him, as he informed her that everyone else had already departed.
In a recent report by The Wrap, Simons revealed, “He took me into this room and then just closed the door and started kissing me.”
She further explained how Seagal proceeded to undress her and proceeded to rape her.
She expressed feeling completely caught off guard by the situation, emphasizing the shock she experienced.
Describing the harrowing experience, Simons shared, “The only way I’m able to describe it is I literally felt like I left my body.
I think because of the situation I was completely caught off guard.”
Following the alleged assault, Simons claimed that Seagal permitted her to leave without acknowledging what had transpired, yet he continued to contact her persistently in the subsequent months.
When asked if she needed money after the incident, Simons declined, fleeing to her car in tears.
She confided in a woman she lived with, Patricia Alaniz, about the distressing encounter, who perceived Seagal’s behavior as predatory.
Simons confided in her Mormon bishop about the incident but refrained from publicly coming forward with accusations against the renowned actor due to feelings of shame and self-blame.
Another woman, Faviola Dadis, also accused Seagal of s**ual assault during what was presented to her as a private audition in his hotel room back in 2002.
Dadis recounted, “I was escorted to the room by Steven’s personal assistant.
I assumed the PA and casting director were already in the room, but when I arrived no one was there but Steven and his security, who stood blocking the door.”
She detailed how Seagal requested her to undress and perform a catwalk for him, after which he advanced towards her, initiating inappropriate physical contact despite her objections.
Both Simons and Dadis reported their allegations against Seagal to the LAPD, and other prominent figures such as Jenny McCarthy, Julianna Margulies, and Portia de Rossi have also come forward with accounts of misconduct by Seagal over the years.
Requests for comments from Seagal’s attorney have not been responded to at this time.
