In a delightful revelation, model Kaia Gerber recently shared a charming tidbit from her childhood: iconic actress Pamela Anderson served as the crossing guard at her elementary school.
Gerber recounted this amusing detail during an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, highlighting Anderson’s commitment to the role.
“She donned the yellow safety vest and took her duties quite seriously.
I didn’t realize how fortunate I was back then,” Gerber, who is the daughter of supermodel Cindy Crawford, remarked.
It seems that having a celebrity in such a pivotal role left a lasting impression on her.
At 23 years old, Gerber dubbed the experience “the most Hollywood thing” that has ever occurred in her life.

Anderson, now 57, has previously mentioned her weekly gig as a crossing guard at her sons’ school in Los Angeles.
During a 2008 appearance on “The Ellen Degeneres Show,” she humorously detailed her routine, which included donning a vibrant neon vest.
“I’m on safety patrol every Monday.
It can get really hot wearing all that,” Anderson said, recounting how she aided kids getting into their cars and ensured their safe passage to school.
The Canadian-born actress added that other parents found her role endearing, often giving her high-fives as they dropped off their kids.
“They think it’s hilarious that I’m there doing that,” she laughed.
“But I love being a mom, and this is part of the job!”
Anderson shares two sons, Brandon Thomas Lee, 28, and Dylan Jagger Lee, 26, with her ex-husband, Tommy Lee.
They married in 1995 but split three years later amid tumultuous allegations, which resulted in Lee serving six months in prison.
Reflecting on her tumultuous relationship, Anderson described her divorce as “the hardest, lowest, most difficult point of [her] life” in her recent memoir, “Love, Pamela.” She revealed that her time with Lee was the only moment she felt genuinely in love.
Following her separation from Lee, Anderson ventured into several more marriages.
She tied the knot with Kid Rock in 2006, but they divorced the following year.
Shortly after, she married Rick Salomon, only to see that union dissolve twice—once in 2008 and again in 2015.
Her brief marriage to producer Jon Peters in January 2020 ended just 12 days later, and they never finalized the paperwork.
Most recently, Anderson was married to her bodyguard, Dan Hayhurst, from 2020 until their split in 2022.
