A sneak peek at Prince Harry’s upcoming docuseries, “POLO,” has just been unveiled, and it promises to take viewers on an exhilarating journey into the world of high-stakes polo.

The trailer, which has been exclusively revealed to PEOPLE, showcases what fans can expect from this thrilling five-episode series.

Scheduled for release on December 10, the show is a collaboration between Archewell Productions—co-founded by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle—and Boardwalk Pictures.

Both Harry, who is 40, and Meghan, aged 43, have taken on the roles of executive producers for this ambitious project.

“POLO” dives deep into the fast-paced and glamorous universe of polo, focusing on elite players as they compete in the prestigious U.S. Open Polo Championship held in Wellington, Florida.

The series aims to provide an intimate look at the dedication and passion that drive these incredible athletes.

Prince Harry expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “This series offers audiences an unprecedented, behind-the-scenes look into the passion and determination driving some of the world’s elite polo players.” He emphasized the importance of showcasing the sport’s true spirit and the fierce nature of its competitive moments.

The trailer tantalizingly hints at the thrill of the game, with one voiceover describing the experience: “Imagine going on a horse at 35 miles an hour as someone is coming at you full speed.” It captures the addictive adrenaline rush that comes with the sport, making it clear that polo is more than just a game—it’s a lifestyle.

In fact, the trailer boldly claims, “Polo is not just a sport; it’s a lifestyle.

We eat, we breathe, we sleep polo.” This sentiment is echoed throughout the teaser, which highlights both the professional and personal lives of the athletes featured in the series, emphasizing the allure and raw energy of the sport.

As the trailer concludes, it leaves viewers with a striking tagline: “For legacy.

For courage.

For glory.” This phrase encapsulates the essence of polo, hinting at the intense rivalries and rigorous training that define the life of a polo player.

According to Netflix, “POLO” will provide an exclusive glimpse into the commitment and skill required to excel at the highest levels of the game.

The series will portray various stories, including that of a young player facing pressure from his father, a former golfer sacrificing everything for his passion, and a legendary father-son duo battling it out on the field.

Among the prominent figures featured in the docuseries is Nacho Figueras, a close friend of Prince Harry and a renowned Argentine polo player.

Figueras serves as both a participant and consulting producer, sharing his insights and experience within the sport.

Another key player spotlighted is Adolfo Cambiaso, considered one of the greatest polo players ever.

The series will showcase his dynamic rivalry with his son, Poroto Cambiaso, as they compete against each other for the first time in a high-stakes match.

The docuseries also introduces Louis Devaleix, who took up polo later in life at the age of 38.

His storyline includes the excitement surrounding his marriage to U.S. Open champion Pamela Flanagan Devaleix, who is expecting their first child during the filming.

Timmy Dutta, another featured athlete, will share his experiences under the watchful eye of his father, who pushes him to excel through tough love.

The series also highlights Keko Magrini and his contemporaries, representing a new generation of players bringing fresh energy and fearless strategies to the sport.

“POLO” follows several previous Netflix projects from Harry and Meghan, including the docuseries “Harry & Meghan,” “Live to Lead,” and “Heart of Invictus.” The couple has captivated audiences with their storytelling, and this new venture promises to be yet another engaging chapter in their ongoing narrative.
