Royal Scandal: Queen Elizabeth’s Blunt Remarks to Princess Diana on Marriage Woes

In a candid revelation, Princess Diana shared that Queen Elizabeth bluntly described Prince Charles as “hopeless” when she sought advice regarding their troubled marriage.

The intimate details of Prince Charles and Diana’s marital struggles, along with revelations about their s** life, are set to be unveiled in an upcoming documentary.

Diana disclosed that Charles insisted on having a “mistress” during a confrontation about his relationship with Camilla Parker Bowles, now known as the Duchess of Cornwall.

During their confrontation, Diana recounted Charles stating, “I refuse to be the only Prince of Wales who never had a mistress,” when questioned about Camilla’s involvement in his life.

She further revealed that the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip, allegedly suggested to Charles that he could pursue an affair with Camilla if his marriage failed after a specific duration.

Earl Spencer, Diana’s brother, condemned the situation as “bizarre and cruel,” particularly highlighting the emotional burden placed on Diana’s sons, who had to walk behind their mother’s casket.

Previously unreleased video recordings, initially aired in a US documentary over a decade ago but never shown in the UK, feature a vulnerable Diana seeking guidance from the Queen, whom she referred to as “the top lady.”

Diana expressed her disappointment with the Queen’s response, stating that she approached her in tears, seeking advice, only to be told, “Charles is hopeless.”

Diana also disclosed that her intimate relationship with Charles dwindled over time, revealing that they were engaging in s**ual relations only once every three weeks.

She admitted that the physical aspect of their marriage had deteriorated around six to seven years before the recorded tapes were made, approximately a few years following Prince Harry’s birth in 1984.

Additionally, Diana confessed finding emotional support in her married police protection officer, Barry Mannakee, although she clarified that their relationship was not s**ual.

Despite this, she contemplated leaving the Royal Household to be with him, indicating the depth of her emotional turmoil during that period.

Seeking to improve her public speaking abilities, Diana enlisted the help of Peter Settelen between 1992 and 1993, following her collaboration with author Andrew Morton on a biography.

The recordings from her private sessions at Kensington Palace capture Diana practicing her speaking voice, while also delving into personal matters, showcasing her vulnerability and struggles within the royal family.

The documentary “Diana: In Her Own Words” is scheduled for release on August 6, promising viewers a deeper insight into the tumultuous life of the beloved Princess of Wales.
