Richard Pryor’s widow has supported claims made by Quincy Jones regarding his relationship with Marlon Brando.
Jones initially disclosed this information in an interview with Vulture magazine, stating that Pryor was open to various encounters and relationships.
He also mentioned other alleged intimate liaisons.
In a post on Twitter, Jennifer Lee Pryor stated, “If you delve into Richard’s early comedy, you’ll see how progressive he was on issues related to gay rights!
#noshame.”
She further shared with TMZ that Pryor never hesitated to discuss his bisexuality, even documenting it in his personal diaries, which she intends to make public.
According to her, “It was the ’70s!
The drug scene was thriving.
If you indulged in enough cocaine, you might find yourself in unexpected situations.”
Pryor tied the knot seven times during his lifetime, forming relationships with five different women.
Although the comedian initially wed Lee Pryor in 1981, they separated a year later, only to reconcile in 2001 until his passing in 2005.
In addition to the revelations about Pryor, Jones made scathing remarks about The Beatles in the same interview, labeling them as “the most dreadful musicians globally.”
The renowned producer also disclosed his past involvement with Ivanka Trump and his social interactions with the current President of the United States.
