Nicole Kidman, the renowned Hollywood actress, endured physical injuries while shooting the intense s** scenes for her recent film, The Paperboy.
Director Lee Daniels had expressed concerns and offered to halt filming due to the violent nature of the scenes, as per a report by Sun online.
Despite being left battered and bruised, the 45-year-old Academy Award winner insisted on continuing with the filming.
She required make-up the following day to conceal the bruises sustained during the graphic sequences.
Her co-star John Cusack, portraying a death row inmate in the film, revealed that certain shots were deemed too explicit for the challenging narrative.
During an exclusive peek into India’s general elections story, available solely on the HT App, Cusack shared his experience working with Kidman.
He mentioned, “There were numerous scenes that didn’t make it to the final cut, I assure you.
I was concerned about causing her harm, but she displayed remarkable courage.”
