Margot Robbie’s Surprising Revelation Behind The Wolf Of Wall Street

During an interview, the 32-year-old star of I, Tonya mentioned the existence of a dedicated room on set filled with ‘merkins,’ which are genital wigs.

Having previously portrayed n^de scenes alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in her breakout role back in 2013, Margot expressed comfort while filming a scene for her latest movie Babylon that involved a ‘debaucherous party.’

Reflecting on her experiences, she shared with Nova’s Fitzy and Wippa that becoming accustomed to such scenarios happened swiftly, feeling both everlasting and distant in memory.

When asked about the challenges of finding actresses with suitable body types for certain scenes, Margot revealed that the costume department always had contingencies in place, including the use of merkins – wigs designed for genitalia.

Recalling her time on the set of Wolf of Wall Street, she mentioned the presence of an entire room dedicated to these unique props, where individuals could select one according to requirements.

In a recent appearance on The Project, Margot also shed light on the origin of her childhood nickname, ‘Maggot,’ which has stuck with her since the age of six due to a mishap involving a substitute teacher mistakenly calling her by that name during roll call.

Reflecting on this incident, the two-time Oscar nominee humorously shared that the nickname was not chosen but rather bestowed upon her by her peers, highlighting the unpredictable nature of how such labels come into existence.

Despite hoping that the embarrassing mix-up would fade into obscurity by lunchtime, Margot humorously remarked that the moniker has endured for over two decades, proving that some memories persist longer than anticipated.
