Renowned DJ Diplo has recently shed light on his previous experiences with men, expressing that he prefers not to confine himself to a strict s**ual label.
During an engaging conversation on Emily Ratajkowski’s High Low podcast aired on March 14, Diplo candidly shared, “I’m certain that I’ve had encounters with guys in the past.
I don’t necessarily consider it as defining my sexuality unless there’s a deeper emotional connection involved.”
In a reflective tone, Diplo continued, emphasizing, “Engaging in certain intimate acts doesn’t necessarily dictate one’s s**ual orientation, in my opinion.”
Addressing a private chat with the artist off-air regarding his s**ual identity, the 44-year-old clarified his stance on the matter during the podcast session.
“I suppose the most fitting response would be that I don’t outright deny the possibility of being attracted to men,” Diplo remarked.
“There have been instances where I’ve envisioned a potential long-term relationship with certain individuals, focusing more on their personality and energy rather than their gender.”
Sharing a quirky detail about his TikTok preferences, Diplo humorously mentioned his interest in videos featuring men chopping wood, finding them intriguing and appealing.
“Observing individuals chopping wood exudes a certain allure,” Diplo playfully confessed.
“While it may not entirely sway me towards a particular orientation, there’s an undeniable magnetism there.”
Despite maintaining discretion about his personal life, Diplo has been romantically linked to high-profile figures over the years, such as singer Katy Perry, with whom he had a brief relationship in 2014.
