In a stunning turn of events, a 72-year-old woman residing in a Florida healthcare facility has divulged a shocking confession on her deathbed – asserting, “I am the secret daughter of Marilyn Monroe!” Nancy Maniscalco Miracle alleges that the renowned Hollywood starlet was merely 20 years old when she gave birth to her following a clandestine romance with a deceased attorney from New York.
With the specter of death looming, Miracle is resolute in sharing her untold narrative.
Reflecting on her past, Miracle disclosed, “My mother harbored aspirations and believed that bearing an illegitimate child could jeopardize her career prospects!” This revelation comes as Miracle has been confined to Key West Health and Rehabilitation ever since sustaining a hip injury back in October.
Miracle recounted how Monroe and her paramour, Vincent Bruno, entrusted her to the care of close acquaintances – an affluent family from New York who brought her up as their own kin.
“Formally, I was non-existent,” Miracle articulated from her bedridden state.

The individual she recognized as her mother – Jenny Maniscalco – presented Miracle as her biological offspring to the world.

Recalling the moment, Miracle lamented, “It was truly heart-wrenching.
I yearned to have known my mother before her passing.”
Transitioning into adulthood, Miracle carved out a distinguished career as an English professor in cities like New York, St. Louis, and Hawaii.
In 2013, she penned a memoir chronicling her mother’s life journey alongside her personal odyssey titled “From Sardi’s to Sicily: The Biography of Marilyn Monroe.”
