Steven Seagal’s Abrupt Exit from Newsnight Interview Amidst ‘s** Assault’ Interrogation

Hollywood icon Steven Seagal made a dramatic exit from BBC’s Newsnight show after being pressed about a s**ual assault accusation leveled against him.

The renowned American-Russian action star found himself in a heated exchange with host Kirsty Wark during the interview when she delved into the sensitive topic.

Before Wark could even complete her inquiry, Seagal swiftly removed his earpiece and left the interview abruptly, leaving viewers stunned by the unexpected turn of events.

The atmosphere had already been tense between the actor and the TV presenter as they engaged in a discussion about Seagal’s dual citizenship, igniting a chilly ambiance on the set.

Responding to Wark’s query about which citizenship he valued more – Russian or American, Seagal dismissed it as irrelevant, glancing off-camera and shaking his head.

It is noteworthy that Seagal was personally granted a Russian passport by President Vladimir Putin in 2016, adding a layer of complexity to the conversation.

As the interview came to an end, the presenter noted, “Seagal there, and of course though he didn’t respond there, he has said previously that he denies any allegation made against him.” This statement shed light on Seagal’s stance regarding the numerous allegations of s**ual assault and harassment that have been levied against him by multiple women, including prominent figures like Julianna Margulies and Portia de Rossi.

De Rossi recounted an unsettling incident where Seagal allegedly unzipped his pants while she was auditioning for one of his films, highlighting the gravity of the accusations faced by the Under Siege star.

Lisa Guerrero, another woman who has come forward with allegations against Seagal, took to Twitter to express her support for the line of questioning pursued by BBC Newsnight, commending them for addressing the issue head-on.

Guerrero’s tweet emphasized the significance of holding individuals accountable for their actions in the wake of the #MeToo movement, stating, “This is SO GREAT!

As one of the dozen women who have shared our #MeToo stories about @sseagalofficial, Thank you @BBCNewsnight @BBC and @KirstyWark
